1.Moong dal soaked
2.Jaggery grated
3.Salt to taste
4.Cardamom powder
5.Dosa batter


1.Grind moong dal 1 bowl into smooth paste.
2.Take idly pressure pan pour 2 glasses water,add moong dal batter in idly moulds and steam cook till 10 minutes.
3.Take a pan add 1 cup jaggery,water as we needed keep stirring till it attains thick consistency syrup.
4.Remove the moong dal dumplings from pressure pan and keep aside.Rest the dumplings to cool.
5.Now mash the dumplings with hands until they become into smooth powder.
6.Add cardamom powder 1 tbsp and mix with jaggery syrup,give it a fine mix.
7.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
8.Prepare small dumplings with moong dal mixture and dip dosa batter,slowly drop them in hot oil and deep fry.
9.Fry till golden colour and transfer into a plate.Serve hot..!!!
