Kanda Bachali Pappu Pulusu


1.Bachali Kura boiled
2.Kanda (Elephant Yam) boiled
4.Tempering seeds
5.Chana dal
6.Curry leaves
7.Green chillies
8.Onion chopped
9.Turmeric powder
10.Tamarind juice
11.Salt to taste
12.Red chilli powder
13.Dry red chillies


1.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it.
2.Add tempering seeds 1 tbsp,3-4 dry red chillies,chana dal 1/2 cup,curry leaves,green chillies cut and slitted 4-5,onion chopped 1 cup and saute,fry for few minutes.
3.Add boiled kanda pieces 1 cup and mix well.
4.Add 1 cup boiled bachali kura,turmeric powder a pinch,tamarind juice 1 cup and mix well all the ingredients.
5.Add salt to taste,red chilli powder 1 tbsp,sugar 1 tbsp and mix well.
6.Cover and boil for 4-5 minutes,transfer into a bowl,garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot.
