1.Sweet potato
2.Putnala pappu
3.Urad dal
5.Cardamom powder
6.Rice flour
7.Oil for deep frying


1.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
2.Take a bowl add mashed sweet potato 1 cup,rice flour 1 tbsp,putnala pappu powder 1 tbsp,cardamom powder,jaggery 1 cup and mix well all the ingredients.
3.Soak urad dal for 2 hrs and prepare a thick batter.
4.Take a plastic cover,grease some oil to it.Take small amount of mixture in your palms and prepare a small thick layer round,place the sweet potato stuff in it and enclose.
5.Prepare round balls and gently drop them in hot oil and dep fry,repeat the same process.
6.Keep turning the balls and fry evenly till golden brown colour.Transfer onto a paper napkin and serve hot.
