Pesarapappu Chegodelu


1.Rice flour
2.Moong dal
3.Salt to taste
5.Red chilli powder
6.Oil for deep frying


1.Take a pan pour some water as we needed and bring it to boil,add 1 tbsp salt.
2.Add 3 tbsp moong dal,red chilli powder 1 tbsp,pinch of asofetida (Inguva) and bring it to boil.
3.In another bowl add 3 tbsp rice flour,boiling water and mix well evenly prepare a smooth dough.
4.Divide the dough into small portions,prepare a long thin rope and bring the edges together and press firmly.
5.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying,slowly drop chekodis in hot oil and deep fry,fry till golden brown colour and crisp.Transfer into a plate and serve.
