Pesara Punugula Pulav


1.Moong dal paste
2.Rice soaked
3.Whole garam masala
4.Onion chopped
7.Ginger garlic paste
8.Green chillies


1.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
2.Take a bowl add moong dal paste,coriander,pudina leaves,salt to taste,mix well.
3.Slowly drop the mixture in hot oil like (punugulu) and deep fry,keep turning the balls.
4.Fry till golden brown colour,transfer into a bowl and keep aside.
5.Take another pan add 1 tbsp ghee and melt it.
6.Add whole garam masala,onion chopped,green chillies 4-5,ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp and saute for few minutes.
7.Add 2 cups of water to 1 cup of rice,add salt.Cover and boil.
8.Add soaked rice and mix well,cover and cook for few more minutes till rice cooks completely.
9.Finally add fried punugulu,sprinkle some coriander leaves,1 tbsp ghee.Cover and cook for 5 minutes.Transfer into a bowl,serve hot.
