1.Rice flour
3.Cardamom powder
4.Sesame seeds
6.Dry coconut powder
7.Cashew nuts


1.Stuffing process:We need sesame powder,dry coconut powder,jaggery,cardamom powder and mix well all ingredients,prepare a dough.
2.Take a pan pour some ghee and melt it.
3.Add rice flour 1 cup and saute for few minutes.
4.Meanwhile melt jaggery in a bowl with some water and keep aside.
5.Transfer fried rice flour into a bowl,rest the mixture to cool.
6.Add dry coconut powder 1/2 cup in rice flour,cardamom powder 1 1/2 tbsp and mix thoroughly,slowly add jaggery water in rice flour and mix well evenly.
7.Prepare a soft dough,Now divide the stuff into small equal portions,prepare round dumplings and set aside.
8.In the same process prepare round balls with rice flour,now stuff the sesame stuff in rice flour and prepare round balls.Repeat the same process.
9.Place the balls in idly moulds and cook for 15 minutes on medium flame.Transfer into a plate,sprinkle some sesame seeds,garnish with cashew nuts.Serve immediately
