1.Beerakaya pieces
2.Onion chopped
3.Curry leaves
4.Green chillies
5.Cumin seeds
6.Mustard seeds
8.Tomatoes chopped
9.Salt to taste
10.Red chilli powder
11.Coriander powder
12.Besan flour


1.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
2.Take a bowl add beerakaya pieces 1/2 cup,onion chopped,green chillies 4-5,salt to taste,besan flour 1 cup mix well all the ingredients with water and prepare pakodi batter.
3.Slowly drop the mixture in hot oil and deep fry.
4.Keep turning the pakodas gently and fry evenly,fry till it changes into golden brown colour.
5.Transfer onto a paper napkin,drain excess oil.
6.Take another pan pour some oil and heat it.
7.Add mustard seeds,cumin seeds,green chillies 3-4,onion chopped,curry leaves and saute,fry for few minutes.
8.Add tomatoes chopped 1 cup,salt to taste,coriander powder and cook till tomatoes are soft and pulpy.
9.Add red chilli powder and mix well,add 1 cup water and bring it to boil.
10.Finally add pakodas in boiling mixture and cook for few minutes.Transfer into a bowl,serve hot.
