Majjiga Charu Bajjilu


1.Sour curd
2.Besan flour
3.Curry leaves
4.Coriander leaves
5.Mustard seeds
6.Cumin seeds
7.Salt to taste
8.Red chilli powder
9.Turmeric powder
10.Onion chopped
11.Oil for deep frying
12.Green chillies
13.Cooking soda


1.Take a bowl add sour curd 1 cup,turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp,salt to taste,red chilli powder 1 tbsp and mix well,keep aside.
2.Take another bowl add besan flour 2 tbsp,some water and prepare a thick liquid batter,add this mixture to curd and give it a stir.
3.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it.
4.Add cumin seeds 1 tbsp,mustard seeds 1 tbsp,onion chopped 1 cup,green chillies 4-5 saute for few minutes,now add curd mixture,some water and give it a stir.
5.Add curry leaves,coriander leaves and bring it to boil.
6.Take another bowl add 1 cup besan flour,cooking soda a pinch,turmeric powder a pinch,red chilli powder 1/2 tbsp,salt to taste and mix well all the ingredients evenly,prepare mirchi bajji batter.
7.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
8.Take small amount of mixture in your palms and leave in hot oil like bajji,repeat the same process.
9.Fry till golden brown colour,transfer bajjis into curd mixture and mix well.Garnish with coriander leaves.
