5.Dry red chillies
6.Garlic cloves
7.Tempering seeds
8.Curry leaves
9.Turmeric powder
10.Green chillies
11.Coriander leaves
12.Red chilli powder
13.Salt to taste
14.Onion chopped


1.Pressure cook sorakaya pieces for whistle by adding 1/2 glass of water.
2.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it.
3.Add garlic cloves 6-7,tempering seeds,dry red chillies and saute.
4.Add onion chopped 1 cup,green chillies 3-4,pinch of turmeric powder,curry leaves,salt to taste and give it a stir.
5.Cover and cook for 2 minutes on medium flame.
6.Now add boiled sorakaya pieces and mix well,add 1 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder,jaggery,tamarind juice 1 cup,coriander leaves and mix well.
7.Cover and cook for another 5 more minutes,transfer into a bowl,serve hot.
