1.Roasted rice flour
3.Coconut milk
5.Salt to taste


1.Take a pan pour some water and bring it to boil.
2.Meanwhile take a bowl add salt to taste and mix well with lukewarm water.
3.Mix well evenly and prepare a soft dough,keep aside.
4.Now take idly moulds,clean it and grease some oil all over the mould.
5.Take a sev presser apply some oil,attach fine holed disc to it.Now place some dough in it.
6.Now press it gently on idly moulds in circular motion,place this idiyappam in pressure pan and steam cook for few minutes till done.
7.Take a bowl add coconut milk 1 cup,sugar 2 tbsp and mix well,keep aside.
8.Remove idiyappam from idly moulds and transfer into a plate,serve hot with coconut milk.
