Rajasthani Dal


1.Soaked moong dal
2.Soaked chana dal
3.Cumin seeds
4.Dry red chillies
5.Green chillies
6.Ginger chopped
7.Onion chopped
9.Turmeric powder
10.Red chilli powder
11.Coriander leaves
12.Salt to taste
14.Dry mango powder


1.Take a pan pour 4 tbsp oil and heat it.
2.Add cumin seeds  1/2 tbsp,dry red chillies 3,green chillies 2 tbsp,ginger chopped 1 tbsp,onion chopped 1 cup,a pinch of asofetida,turmeric powder and saute for few minutes.
3.Finally add 1 bowl soaked moong and chana dal,add red chilli powder,salt to taste and mix well.
4.Cook for five minutes,add salt to taste,dry mango powder 1/2 tbsp and give it a good mix.
5.Off the stove,transfer into a plate,garnish with coriander leavbes and serve hot.
