Munagaaku Chutney


1.Drum stick leaves
2.Chana dal
3.Curry leaves
4.Tempering seeds
7.Coconut pieces
8.Tamarind soaked
9.Dry red chillies
10.Salt to taste
11.Urad dal


1.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it.
2.Add dry red chillies 10-12,chana dal,urad dal and saute till golden colour and set aside.
3.In the same pan fry drum stick leaves (munagaaku) till tender and transfer into a bowl.
4.Now grind dry red chillies mixture,coconut pieces 1 cup,tamarind juice as we needed,salt to taste into  a smooth paste.
5.Finally add fried drum stick leaves and grind it into a smooth paste.
6.Take another pan pour some oil and heeat it.
7.Add tempering seeds,curry leaves and saute for a minute,now add grinded paste and give it a good stir.Serve hot with rice.
