Koftha Curry


1.Boiled potatoes
2.Paneer grated
3.Corn flour
5.Oil for deep frying
6.Cumin seeds
7.White pepper powder
8.Salt to taste
9.Onion paste
10.Tomato paste
11.Ginger garlic paste
12.Cashew nut paste
13.Red chilli powder
14.Cumin powder
15.Fresh cream


1.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
2.Take a bowl add boiled potatoes 1 cup,panner grated 1 cup,corn flour 1 tbsp,maida 1 1/2 tbsp,salt to taste,white pepper powder 1/2 tbsp mix well all the ingredients evenly.
3.Take small amount of mixture in your palms and prepare koftas and keep aside in a plate.
4.Now slowly drop the koftas in hot oil and deep fry,fry till golden brown colour and transfer onto a paper napkin.
5.Drain excess oil,take another pan pour some oil and heat it.
6.Add cumin seeds,onion paste 1 cup saute for few minutes.
7.Add tomato puree 1 cup and mix well,cook for 2 minutes till soft and tender.
8.Add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste,cashew nut paste 1 tbsp and give it a mix.
9.Add red chilli powder 1 tbsp,cumin powder 1/2 tbsp,add 1 glass water and bring it to boil for 2 minutes.
10.Now add fresh cream and give it a mix,add salt to taste.Finally add fried koftas and mix well.Cook for 2-3 minutes.Transfer into a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot.
