Pandu Mirchi Tomato Pachadi


1.Red chillies ripened
4.Cumin seeds
5.Fenugreek seeds
6.Dry red chillies
8.Turmeric powder
9.Garlic cloves
10.Tempering seeds
11.Curry leaves
12.Coriander leaves
13.Sesame powder


1.Heat some oil in a pan,add red chillies,garlic to the pan and mix well.Cover and cook for 10 minutes till red chillies are tender and soft.
2.In the same pan,add cumin seeds,fenugreek seeds,garlic and saute for a minute.
3.Add tomatoes,tamarind and give it a stir.Cover and cook for few minutes till tender,water floats on top of pan.
4.Blend both fried mixture in a blender,add coriander leaves,salt,dry roasted sesame powder and blend.
5.Heat some oil in a pan,add tempering seeds,garlic and saute till brown colour.Add red chillies,curry leaves,turmeric powder and give it a mix.
6.Switch off the flame and transfer in pandumirchi mixture and mix well.Serve hot with hot rice.
