1.Soaked chana dal
2.Cumin seeds
4.Onion chopped
5.Salt to taste
6.Green chillies
7.Coriander leaves
8.Ponganala batter (Urad dal 2cups+Rice 1 cup)


1.Take a bowl add ponganala batter,cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp,green chillies 1 tbsp,ginger chopped 1 tbsp,coriander leaves chopped,salt to taste,soaked chana dal 1 tbsp,onion chopped 2 tbsp mix well all the ingredients evenly.
2.Grease guntapongadalu pan (guntalu/slots) with some oil and place some batter.Cook on high flame.
3.Drizzle some oil around batter,gently turn the pongadalu till light golden brown and crisp.Cook on both sides evenly.Transfer onto a plate.Serve hot.
