Minapa Garelu


1.Urad dal batter
2.Salt to taste
3.Cumin seeds
4.Green chillies
5.Oil for deep frying
6.Coriander leaves
7.Ginger chopped


1.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
2.Take a bowl add urad dal batter,salt to taste,cumin seeds,green chillies chopped,coriander leaves,ginger chopped mix well all the ingredients evenly.
3.Take a green leaf or banana leaf grease some oil and spread all over.
4.Take small amount of mixture in your palms and prepare a round ball,place it on leaf,now press the dumpling into a thin layered (garelu) make a hole.
5.Slowly drop them into hot oil and deep fry,keep turning till it attains golden brown colour.Fry on medium flame.
6.Fry on both the sides evenly,transfer onto a paper napkin,drain excess oil.Serve hot.
