1.Sesame seeds
2.Oil for deep frying
3.Cardamom powder
5.Badam grated
6.Urad dal batter (soaked and grinded with salt)


1.Take a bowl add urad dal batter,add sesame seeds a wrist full and ix well.
2.Take a pan pour some water and heat it,add 1/2 cup sugar and bring it to boil.Prepare sugar syrup by adding cardamom powder.
3.Take another pan,heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
4.Take a plastic cover,grease some water on it.Now take small amount of urad mixture in your palms and prepare small vadas.
5.Gently drop the vadas in hot oil and deep fry,keep turning the vadas in between and fry evenly till golden brown colour.
6.Remove the vadas after frying and transfer into sugar syrup immediately so that vada absorbs more syrup while its hot.
7.Remove the vadas from sugar syrup and transfer into a plate,garnish with badam grated.Serve hot.
