2.Coconut powder
4.Mustard seeds
5.Cumin seeds
6.Onion chopped
7.Curry leaves
8.Turmeric powder
9.Salt to taste
10.Red chilli powder
11.Coriander leaves


1.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
2.Deep fry dondakaya pieces (cut into 4 quarters) for few minutes till light golden brown colour.
3.Transfer onto a paper napkin,drain excess oil.
4.Take another pan pour some oil and heat it.
5.Add mustard seeds,cumin seeds,curry leaves,green chillies,onion chopped 1 cup and saute for a minute till light golden.
6.Add pinch of turmeric powder,salt to taste,red chilli powder 1/2 tbsp,fried dondakayalu,coconut grated 1 cup and give it a mix.Cook for 1-2 minutes on medium flame.Sprinkle some coriander leaves.Transfer into a bowl,garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot.
