Dum Sabji Biryani


1.Beans chopped
2.Carrot pieces
3.Cauliflower pieces
4.Potato pieces
5.Green peas
8.Saffron strands
10.Whole garam masala
11.Red chilli powder
12.Salt to taste
13.Green chillies
14.Garam masala powder
15.Coriander leaves
17.Soaked rice


1.Take a pan add all above said vegetables,pinch of garam masala powder,cumin powder,cardamom powder,red chilli powder,green chillies2,fried brown onions 2 tbsp,curd 3 tbsp,mix well all the ingredients evenly and rest aside for 20 minutes.
2.Take another pan pour some water as we needed,add whole garam masala and bring it to boil.
3.Add soaked basmati rice 1 bowl to boiling water and give it a stir,cover and cook.
4.Now add marinated vegetable mixture on top of rice,form a layer.
5.Take a flat pan and place the rice pan on top,cover it and heat.
6.Cook for 5 minutes till done,sprinkle some saffron strands,add 1 tbsp ghee,coriander leaves,pudina leaves and mix well.Transfer into a bowl,garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot.
