Chicken Ginger

Chicken Ginger


1.Chicken boneless
2.Ginger paste 1 tbsp
3.Ginger sliced 2 inch piece
4.Lemon juice 2 tbsp
5.Salt to taste
6.Red chilli paste 1 tbsp
7.Oil for deep frying + 1tbsp
8.Egg 1/2
9.Corn flour 1 tbsp
10.Green chillies 3-4
11.Onion chopped 1
12.Soya sauce 1 tbsp
13.Spring onions green 1 stalk chopped
14.MSG (Monosodium Glutamate)


1.Take a bowl add chicken pieces cut into diagonal shape,add ginger paste,MSG,1/2 red chilli paste and mix well.
2.Rest the mixture aside for 20 minutes.
3.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
4.Beat the egg and add half of it to chicken,add 1 tbsp corn flour and mix well.
5.Add the marinated chicken pieces in hot oil and deep fry,fry till golden brown colour and crisp.
6.Meanwhile heat 1 tbsp oil in a separate pan,add ginger chopped,green chilli chopped 3-4,onion chopped into cubes,saute till golden and raw smells of ginger.
7.Add 1/2 tbsp red chilli paste,1/2 soya sauce,lemon juice 1 tbsp,salt and remaining MSG and mix well.
8.Add 1/4 cup of water,bring it to boil till onions cooks.
9.Drain the fried chicken pieces onto absorbent paper and add to the fried mixture and saute.
10.Add spring onion greens and toss well till chicken gets coated with sauce.Serve hot.
