Palakwali Moong Dal


1.Moong dal boiled 1 cup
2.Spinach chopped 1 bunch
3.Onion finely chopped 1
4.Garlic paste 1 tbsp
5.Ginger paste 1 tbsp
6.Salt to taste
7.Garam masala powder 1/4 tbsp
8.Red chilli powder 1/2 tbsp
9.Cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp
10.Green chillies finely chopped 2
11.Oil 2 tbsp


1.Take a pan pour 2 tbsp oil and heat it.
2.Add cumin seeds,onion chopped and saute till golden brown colour.
3.Add ginger,garlic paste and saute till fragrant.
4.Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder,green chillies and mix well for 2-3 minutes till oil floats on top.
5.Add moong dal and mix well.Add spinach 1 cup and mix well.
6.Add 2 cups water and give it a stir,add salt to taste,bring it to boil.
7.Cook on medium flame,sprinkle 1/4 tbsp garam masala powder and give it a nice stir.Serve hot.
