Matar Mushroom


1.Green peas 1 1/2 cup
2.Mushrooms 200 gms
3.Oil 2 tbsp
4.Green cardamoms 4
5.Cinnamon stick 1 inch
6.Onion chopped 2 large
7.Ginger paste 1 tbsp
8.Garlic paste 1 tbsp
9.Tomato puree 1/2 cup
10.Coriander powder 1 tbsp
11.Turmeric powder 1 tbsp
12.Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
13.Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
14.Salt to taste
15.Cashew nuts 1/2 cup


1.Take a pan pour 2 tbsp oil and heat it.
2.Add green cardamoms,cinnamon stick,onion chopped and mix well.Saute till golden brown colour.
3.Add ginger paste 1 tbsp,garlic paste 1 tbsp,cook for a 1/2 minute.
4.Add tomato puree,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder,garam masala powder and salt to taste.Mix well.
5.Cook till oil leaves the masala,add 1/2 cup cashew nut paste diluted in one cup water,stir well.
6.Add another cup of water and bring it to boil.
7.Add mushrooms,green peas and cook on medium heat for 5 minutes.Serve hot with paratha or phulka.
