Carrot and Tomato Puri


1.Wheat flour 1 1/2 cup
2.Carrot grated 1 cup
3.Tomato puree 1 cup
4.Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
5.Chat masala powder 2 tbsp
6.Carom seeds 1 tbsp
7.Salt to taste
8.Oil for deep frying+2 tbsp


1.Take a bowl add wheat flour,carrot grated,carom seeds,red chilli powder,chat masala powder,salt and 2 tbsp oil an mix well.
2.Prepare a stiff dough along with tomato puree.
3.Divide the dough into small equal portions and prepare dumplings.
4.Roll them out into puris,meanwhile heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
5.Deep fry the puris in hot oil on medium flame till crisp.Transfer onto a absorbent paper,drain excess oil.Serve hot.
