1.Wheat flour 2 cups
2.Maida 1 cup
3.Ghee 6 tbsp
4.Salt to taste


1.Take a bowl combine wheat flour,maida,ghee 6 tbsp and salt and mix well.Knead into a smooth dough.
2.Divide the dough into small equal portions and prepare small roundels (dumplings)
3.Roll out a portion into a roti using wheat flour,brush ghee evenly on roti surface.
4.Dust the brushed surface in the dry wheat flour and shape into a fan.Fold it and keep aside.
5.Roll out the folded portion into a paratha and prepare remaining parathas.
6.Heat a non stick tawa,place the paratha and cook by drizzling some ghee,keep turning the paratha till it cooks completely.
7.Before serving paratha,crush the paratha slightly so that the layers separate from each other.Serve hot
