Aloo Tikki Burger


1.Potatoes boiled and peeled 4 medium
2.Burger buns 4
3.Green chillies finely chopped 2
4.Dry mango powder 2 tbsp
5.Salt to taste
6.Turmeric powder 1/4 tbsp
7.Coriander powder 2 tbsp
8.Bread crumbs 1 cup
9.Mayonnaise 1/2 cup
10.Green chutney 3 tbsp
11.Few Iced lettuce leaves
12.Onion cut into rings
13.Tomato cut into rings
14.Oil for deep frying


1.Take a bowl grate boiled and peeled potatoes,add green chillies chopped,dry mango powder,salt,turmeric powder,coriander powder,bread crumbs.Mix well all the ingredients evenly.
2.Divide the edges into  equal portions shaped into balls and flatten and roll on a flat surface.
3.Transfer into a zip lock bag and freeze for 2-3 hours.
4.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying,deep fry the potato patties till golden brown colour and transfer onto a absorbent napkin,drain excess oil.
5.Cut 4 burgers horizontally into halves.
6.Combine mayonnaise and green chutney in a bowl.Mix well.
7.Shred few lettuce leaves and place at the bottom of bun along with onion rings,tomato rings and a pattie.
8.Add spoonful mayonnaise and cover with other burger,repeat the same for other buns.Serve immediately.
