1.Wheat flour 1 cup
2.Left over dal 1/2 cup
3.Onion chopped 1
4.Red chilli powder 1/2 tbsp
5.Coriander powder 1 tbsp
6.Cumin powder 1 tbsp
7.Chat masala powder 1/2 tbsp
8.Carom seeds 1/2 tbsp
9.Turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp
10.Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
11.Salt to taste
12.Oil 1 tbsp + shallow frying


1.Take a bowl add wheat flour,left over dal,onion chopped medium,red chilli powder,coriander powder,cumin powder,chat masala powder,carom seeds,turmeric powder,coriander leaves and salt.
2.Mix well all the ingredients with enough water and knead into a dough.
3.Divide the dough into small equal portions and roll it into a thin chapathi.
4.Grease some oil on both sides of chapathi and cook till brown from both sides.Serve hot.
