Chunky Masala Potatoes


1.Potatoes parboiled and cut into wedges 6
2.Olive oil 2 tbsp
3.Cumin seeds roasted 1/2 tbsp
4.Salt to taste
5.Black pepper corns 6-8
6.Red chilli flakes 1 tbsp
7.Lemon juice 1 tbsp


1.Preheat oven to 200 degrees C,grease a baking tray with 1/2 tbsp olive oil.Roast cumin seeds on griddle.
2.Take roasted cumin seeds,pepper corns,red chilli flakes in mortar and crush coarsely with pestle.
3.Take potato wedges in a bowl and sprinkle 3/4 of crushed masala over them add 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil and mix with spoon.
4.Spread the wedges on tray and put in preheated oven and bake at 200 degrees C for 15 minutes till done.
5.Sprinkle with remaining crushed masala and 1 tbsp lemon juice and serve hot.
