Bhindi Coconut Masala


1.Ladies fingers cut into 3/4 inch
2.Oil 2 tbsp
3.Garlic cloves crushed 7-8
4.Dry red chillies 2-3
5.Mustard seeds 1 tbsp
6.Fenugreek seeds 1/2 tbsp
7.Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
8.Coconut grated 1/2 cup
9.Tamarind pulp 1 tbsp
10.Salt to taste


1.Take a pan pour 2 tbsp oil and heat it.
2.Add garlic cloves crushed and saute till golden colour.
3.Add lady fingers and mix well, saute for 3-4 minutes.
another pan add 2 tbsp oil and heat it,add dry red chillies 2-3,mustard
seeds,fenugreek seeds,coriander seeds and saute till light colour.Grind
the spices with some grated coconut and prepare a coarse paste.
5.Add 1 tbsp tamarind pulp and grind again.
6.Add grinded masala to lady fingers and cook for 2 minutes.
7.Add 2 cups of water and stir well,cook till gravy thickens.Serve hot.
