Moong Dal Puri


1.Moong dal soaked 1/2 cup
2.Wheat flour 1 cup
3.Ginger paste 1 tbsp
4.Coriander powder 1/2 tbsp
5.Cumin powder 1/4 tbsp
6.Red chilli powder 1/4 tbsp
7.Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
8.Salt to taste
9.Oil for deep frying


1.Boil soaked moong dal and keep aside to cool.
2.Take a deep bowl add boiled moong dal,wheat flour,ginger paste,coriander powder,red chilli powder,cumin powder,salt to taste,coriander leaves and mix well all the ingredients evenly.
3.Add little amount of oil and knead into a smooth dough.
4.Cover the dough with a damp cloth and set aside for 10-15 minutes.
5.Divide the dough into small equal portions and prepare round balls.
6.Dust some flour on surface and roll into a puri,repeat the same process for other balls.Deep fry the puris till golden colour and drain onto absorbent paper and remove excess.Serve hot.
