Masala Mushrooms

Masala Mushrooms


1.Mushrooms 1/4 kg
2.Oil 1 tbsp
3.Bay leaf 1
4.Cloves 4
5.Cinnamon stick 1 piece
6.Turmeric powder 1/4 tbsp
7.Onion 1 large chopped finely
8.Salt to taste
9.Garlic 1 tbsp
10.Green chillies for taste
11.Tomatoes chopped 1/4 kg
12.Cumin powder 1 tbsp
13.Red chilli powder
14.Kasoori methi 1 tbsp


1.Take a pan  pour some oil and heat.
2.Add bay leaf,cinnamon stick,cloves saute for 15 seconds.
3.Add turmeric powder,onions chopped and saute for few minutes,add pinch of salt for frying the onions.
4.Cook for 5 minutes.
5.Add garlic and green chillies and cook for 3-4 minutes.
6.Add in the Tomatoes, mix, cover and allow it to cook down for about 10 minutes.
7.Add in the Cumin and the Red Chilli Powders and mix well.
8.Add in the Mushrooms, mix and allow them to cook uncovered.
9.Once the Mushrooms are cooked, gently rub the Fenugreel leaves in your palms and add to the pan.
10.Give it one final mix and serve hot.
