Tofu Paratha

Tofu Paratha


1.Tofu 200 gms
2.Green chillies to taste
3.Salt to taste
4.Cumin powder 1/4 tbsp
5.Asafoetida a pinch
6.Red chilli powder to taste
7.Coriander leaves 1/4 cup
8.Mango pickle masala to taste
9.Oil 1 tbsp + pan frying
10.Chapati flour 250 gms


1.Drain the liquid from the Tofu and put in a bowl,mash well with hands.
2.Add in Green Chillies, Red Chili Powder, Asafoetida, Cumin Powder, Salt, Pickle Masala, Oil, Cilantro.Mix well
3.Add in Chapati Flour, little at a time and make a nice soft dough.
4.Drizzle some oil on dough and set aside for 30 minutes.
5. Heat a tawa on medium heat.
6. Make portions of the dough and roll out the parathas.
7.Place the paratha on the hot tawa and allow it to cook till you see bubbles form.
8.Cook by drizzling some oil on both sides.
9. Flip the paratha again and allow it to cook all the way through.Serve hot.
