Oats Dosa

Oats Dosa


1.Oats 3 cups
2.Rice 1 cup
3.Urad dal 1 cup
4.Fenugreek seeds 1 tbsp
5.Salt to taste
6.Oil for pan frying


1.Wash and Soak the Rice in water,along with the Fenugreek seeds for about 8 hours.
2. 1 hour prior to grinding, soak the Oats in 2.5 cups water
3.Also, at the same time, wash and soak the Daal in water.
4.Drain the water out of the Rice and the Fenugreek Seeds and Grind with 1 Cup fresh water.
5.To that add drained Daal and grind, Grind till the batter is smooth and pour into a big pan.
6.Next grind the Oats along with the water it has been soaking in,Grind till smooth.
7.Add Salt to the Batter and mix well,Heat the Tawa on medium-high and allow it to heat up.
8.Drizzle some oil and wipe off,scoop in some batter and spread into circular motion like dosa.Cook on both sides evenly by drizzling some oil.Serve hot with chutney.
