Chicken Kofta Curry


1.Chicken minced 1 lb
2.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
3.Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
4.Red chilli powder to taste
5.Salt to taste
6.Coriander leaves
7.Egg 1
8.Oil 2 tbsp
9.Cardamom seeds 1/4 tbsp
10.Cloves 3
11.Cinnamon stick 1 inch piece
12.Bay leaf 1
13.Onion 1 medium finely chopped in grinder
14.Tomato paste 1 tbsp
15.Turmeric powder 1/4 tbsp
16.Coriander powder 2 tbsp
17.Cumin powder 1 tbsp
18.Curd 1 cup


chicken mince with ginger garlic paste,garam masala powder,red chilli
powder,salt,coriander leaves,break 1 egg.Mix well all the
ingredients.Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
2.Take another pan pour some oil and heat it.
3.Add cinnamon stick,bay leaf,onion chopped and saute till moisture evaporates,onions turn into golden brown color.
4.Add ginger garlic paste,cook for couple of minutes.
5.Add in the Tomato Paste and mix well.
6. Add in the fresh Tomatoes and Turmeric powder and cook till the Oil separates from the mixture.
7.Once the Oil has separated, add in the Coriander Powder, Cumin Powder & Garam Masala.
8.Add in the yogurt slowly and stir continuously while adding.
9.Add some water to curry,cook on high flame by covering.
take out kofta mixture mixture from refrigerator and prepare round
balls.Slowly drop them in curry and cook for 20-25 minutes.
11.Cook till done,remove the cover and gently give it a stir.Add coriander leaves and serve hot.
