Chicken Frankie


1.Chicken 700 gms
2.Oil 1 tbsp
3.Onions 1/2 cup
4.Ginger 1 tbsp
5.Garlic 1 tbsp
6.Salt to taste
7.Tomatoes 1/2 cup
8.Turmeric powder 1/4 tbsp
9.Garam masala powder 1/2 tbsp
10.Red chili powder 1/2 tbsp
11.Cumin powder 1/2 tbsp
12.Coriander powder 1/2 tbsp
13.Chat masala 1 tbsp
14.Maida 1/2 cup+ chapati atta
16.Oil 1 tbsp
17.Egg 1


1. In a pan, heat Oil on medium heat.
2. Add in the Onions and right after that the Ginger and the Garlic.
3.Sprinkle a little Salt to help the Onions cook a little faster.
4.Cook for 2-3 minutes and add in the Tomatoes and cook till the mixture comes together.
5.Add in the Spices: Turmeric Powder, Garam Masala, Red Chili Powder, Cumin Powder, Coriander Powder and Chaat Masala.
6.Add in the Chicken and mix to coat the Chicken with the masala.
7.Cover and allow the chicken to cook.Cook till done and keep aside.
8.Combine the 2 Flours – Atta and Maida and add Salt and mix.
9.Add in the 1 tbsp of Oiland mix well.
10.Break 1 egg and combine the same way as the Oil.Add in little Water at a time to form a dough.Prepare a smooth dough.
11.Set aside for 15 minutes.Heat the tawa,divide the dough into small equal portions and prepare chapathis by applying egg on both sides.
12.Drizzle some oil and avoid sticking to the pan.Remove the chapathi and stuff chicken in roti and spread some green chutney on top.Roll it.Serve hot.
