Indian Fish Fry


1.Talapia fish 1 lb
2.Coriander leaves 1/2 cup
3.Green chillies 2
4.Ginger 1/2 inch piece
5.Garlic clove 1
6.Sooji/Semolina 1/4 cup
7.Red chilli powder
8.Salt to taste


1.Wash and clean the fish pieces with lemon juice and some salt.
2.Clean with a towel and keep aside in a bowl.
3.Take a blender add in green chillies,coriander leaves,ginger,garlic,salt,1-2 tbsp water.Blend into a smooth paste.
4.Now transfer the mixture into fish bowl and coat all the pieces with green masala.
5.Marinate the fish for 1 hour.
6.Take red chilli powder add in salt,meanwhile add salt to sooji.Mix well.
7.Now coat the fish piece with red chilli powder,sooji.Repeat the same process for another fish pieces.Coat well.
8.Take a pan pour few drops of oil and shallow fry the fish pieces.Cook on medium flame.
9.Cook till light golden and serve hot.
