Sevai Pulav


1.Rice Sevai 2 cups
2.Oil 3 tbsp
3.Green Capsicum 1/2 cup
4.Onion 1/2 sliced
5.Green peas 1/2 cup
6.Carrot grated 1/2 cup
7.Beans 1/4 cup
8.Grated ginger 1 tbsp
9.Green chilli 1 chopped
10.Salt to taste
11.Cloves 4
12.Pepper corns 4
13.Bay leaves 2
14.Cinnamon stick 1 inch


1.Boil rice sevai for 3 minutes and drain excess water from it.
2.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it.
3.Add in cumin seeds,whole garam masala,onion chopped.Saute till the onions are translucent.
4.Add green chillies and grated ginger,saute for a while.
5.Add vegetables and mix well.Sprinkle some salt and give it a good stir.
6.Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
7.Add boiled sevai,salt and mix well.Cover and cook for 2 minutes on medium flame.
8.Serve hot with raita,pickle and chutney.
