Sooji Halwa with Banana

Sooji Halwa with Banana


1.Sooji/Bombay ravva 1/2 cup
2.Ghee 1/4 cup
3.Hot Milk 2 1/2 cup
4.Sugar 1/2 cup
5.Banana 1 riped
6.Assorted nuts
7.Cardamom powder 1/4 tbsp
8.Tulsi leaves 2-3


1.Melt 1/4 cup ghee in a pan,add in sooji and roast till 15-20 minutes till it turns into golden colour.
2.Take another pan add 1 tbsp ghee,fry assorted nuts till light golden.
3.Peel the banana and cut into thin slices.
4.Now add banana slices to assorted nuts and fry for a minute.
5.After sooji turns golden,add in hot milk and cook for few minutes till sooji absorbs whole milk.Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.
6.Add sugar and mix well,also add banana mixture,cardamom powder,tulsi leaves and mix well.Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes on medium heat.Serve hot.
