Corn Pakoda


1.Corn kernels 1 cup
2.Green chilly 1 chopped
3.Cumin seeds
4.Onion chopped 1 tbsp
5.Corn flour 1 tbsp
6.Rice flour 1 tbsp
7.Salt to taste
8.Turmeric powder
9.Pinch of baking soda
10.Coriander leaves


1.Take a blender add in corn kernels,green chillies,cumin seeds,ginger chopped and blend well.Prepare a thick paste.
2.Transfer into a bowl add in chopped onion,corn flour,rice flour and mix well.
3.Add in salt to taste,turmeric powder,baking soda,coriander leaves and mix well.
4.Meanwhile heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
5.Slowly drop the mixture in hot oil like pakodas and deep fry till golden and crisp.
6.Transfer onto a paper napkin and drain excess oil.Serve hot.
