1.Maida 1/2 cup
2.Besan flour 1 tbsp
3.Yeast 1/2 tbsp
4.Oil for deep frying
5.Sugar 1 cup
6.Pinch of Cardamom powder
7.Saffron strands few
8.Lemon juice 1 tbsp


1.Mix well the yeast in warm water,rest aside for 5 minutes.
2.Mix the flour,besan flour,oil together.
3.Add the yeast solution and mix well without forming any lumps and prepare a smooth batter.
4.Rest the batter aside for 1 hour.
5.Boil the sugar and water together.Add the lemon juice and saffron and close the heat.
6.Meanwhile heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
7.Fill the jalebi batter in piping bag,slowly drop the jalebi batter in hot oil and deep fry.
8.Fry till golden brown color on both sides.
9.Transfer into the warm syrup,let the jalebis soak in syrup for few minutes and take out.Serve hot.
