Spicy Potatoes


1.Potatoes 3 medium
2.Oil 2 tbsp
3.Cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp
4.Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
5.Fennel seeds 1 tbsp
6.Fenugreek seeds 8-10
7.Ginger shredded 1 tbsp
8.Black pepper 1/4 tbsp
9.Green chillies 2
10.Salt to taste
11.Lemon juice 1 tbsp
12.Coriander leaves 2 tbsp


1.Peel of some skin from potatoes,leaves some skin to provide color.Cut potatoes in bite size pieces.
2.In a pan boil about 4 cups of water,add in salt and cubed potatoes,cook till tender.
3.After cooked drain water and set aside.
oil in a frying pan on medium heat,add in
cumin,coriander,fennel,fenugreek seeds and shredded ginger stir fry for
half a minute.
5.Add potatoes and fry till light golden brown.
6.Add salt,black pepper,green chilli and roast for another 2-3 minutes.
7.Turn off the stove and add lemon juice,coriander leaves.Serve hot.
