Pani Puri


1.Mint leaves 1 cup
2.Green chillies 2-4
3.Tamarind paste 3 tbsp
4.Lemon juice 3 tbsp
5.Black salt 1 tbsp
6.Salt to taste
7.Ginger powder 1/4 tbsp
8.Asafoetida 1/8 tbsp
9.Roasted cumin powder 1 tbsp
10.Sugar 1 tbsp
11.Black pepper 1/2 tbsp
12.Water 4 cups
13.Maida 1/4 cup
14.Sooji 3/4 cup


1.Blend all the ingredients except maida and sooji into a smooth paste by adding some water as we needed.
2.Taste to adjust salt,sugar as needed to desired taste.
3.After straining mix the paste with remaining water.
4.Mix the flour and sooji,add as we needed to make a firm dough,knead the dough well.
5.Rest the dough aside for 10  minutes.
6.Divide the dough into 60 balls,keep them under damp cloth.
them into small puris and cover them with other cloth on top.Repeat the
same process for other puris .Heat sufficient oil in a pan,fry the
puris and drain excess oil.Serve with pani (spicy water)
