Spinach Raita


1.Spinach 2 cups
2.Oil 1 tbsp
3.Cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp
4.Pinch of asafoetida
5.Red chillies 2
6.Black pepper 1/2 tbsp
7.Salt to taste
8.Curd 1 1/2 cup


1.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it.
2.Add cumin seeds,asafoetida after sizzling add in green chillies stir fry for few seconds.
3.Add spinach, salt and black pepper and stir-fry,cook till spinach will release moist.
4.After the spinach cools off, mix it well into the yogurt.Add milk to the raita about half a cup adjust to the desire consistency.Serve chilled.
