1.Curd 4 cups
2.Sugar 3/4 cup
3.Saffron strands few
4.Warm Milk 1 tbsp
5.Cardamom powder 1/4 tbsp
6.Sliced almonds 1 tbsp
7.Pista sliced 1 tbsp


1.Drain the curd – Put a muslin or cheese cloth over a strainer. Now
pour the curd over muslin cloth to drain. Place a bowl underneath the
strainer to collect the excess water.
2.Next gently squeeze the excess water from curd.Refrigerate for 6 hours to drain excess water with strainer.
3.Dissolve the saffron in warm milk. Milk will take on the saffron color, yellowish orange.
4.Add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron milk to curd and beat well till sugar dissolves.
5.Mix the sliced pistha,almonds and serve with remaining almonds,pistha.Serve chilled.
