1.Poha 2 cups
2.Green peas 1 cup
3.Oil 2 tbsp
4.Mustard seeds 1 tbsp
5.Cardamoms 3
6.Turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp
7.Red chilli powder 1/4 tbsp
8.Green chilli 1 finely chopped
9.Ginger 1 tbsp chopped
10.Salt to taste
11.Sugar 1 tbsp
12.Lemon juice 1 tbsp
13.Garam masala powder 1/4 tbsp
14.Coriander leaves 2 tbsp


1.Gently wash poha in a colander and rest about 10 minutes.
2.Sprinkle turmeric, chili powder and salt and toss with a fork.Wash and drain green peas and set aside.
3.Heat oil in a frying pan over medium high heat.Add in mustard seeds,cardamom,ginger,green chilli and stir fry for few seconds,add green peas and cook until they are tender.
4.Add poha and stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes, mixing gently.Remove from heat and add lemon juice, sugar and cilantro. Mix and cover for few minutes.Serve hot.
