Masala (Salad) Papad


1.Papads 2 plain
2.Tomatoes 2 medium sliced 1 cup
3.Cucumber sliced 1/2 cup
4.Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
5.Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
6.Green chilli 1 finely chopped
7.Lemon 1/2
8.Oil 2 tbsp
9.Salt to taste
10.Black salt 1/4 tbsp
11.Roasted cumin powder 1/4 tbsp
12.Black pepper 1/8 tbsp
13.Pinch of red chilli


1.Mix all the dry ingredients to make a spice mix, set aside.
2.First lightly oil the papads from both sides, set aside.
3.Preheat the skillet over medium high heat.Roast the papad over the heated skillet from both sides till light yellow color fold the papad in four making in triangle right over the skillet.
4.Take one piece of papad and top it with cucumber, tomato, ginger, green chili, and cilantro.
5.Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle the spice mix.
