1.Tayku fish
2.Onion chopped
3.Black cloves
4.Cinnamon stick
5.Spring onions
6.Ginger garlic paste
7.Green chillies
8.Cumin seeds
9.Chana dal
10.Salt to taste
11.Red chilli powder
12.Coriander powder
13.Turmeric powder


1.Take a cooking pan containing a layer of raw grass and add some water.
2.Place the raw fish pieces over the grass,close the lid and cook on medium flame.
3.Grass is used to avoid the fish breaking off and mixing into water.
4.Cook for 5 minutes,now peel the skin off fish pieces and keep aside.
5.Now crumble the fish pieces,add in onion chopped and mix well.
6.Add ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp,salt to taste,turmeric powder,red chilli powder 1 tbsp,green chillies,spring onions and mix well.
7.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it.Add cinnamon stick,black cloves,chana dal,cumin seeds and saute for few seconds till they turn light golden.
8.Now add fish mixture and mix well,stir fry till its done.
9.Cook on medium flame,add garam masala powder and mix it well.Off the stove and transfer into a bowl,garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot.
