Almond Sweet


1.Cashew nuts
4.Sugar powder
5.Food color
6.Powdered Cashews


1.First soak the almonds in water for 2-3 hours and peel the skin off the almonds.
2.Blend the almonds into a smooth paste.
3.In a bowl combine sugar powder,almond paste together and mix well.
4.In a pan pour some ghee and melt it,add mixed almond paste and saute till raw smell goes off.
5.Cook on medium flame for few minutes and transfer into a small bowl.Rest the mixture to cool down.
6.Now divide the dough into 2 parts,to one half of the paste add a food color of your choice.
7.Take another dough and prepare diyas,fill the diyas with colored dough and coat them with silver foil,garnish with cashews and keep aside in a plate.
