Kaaju Pesara Idly Curry


1.Moong dal soaked
2.Cashew nuts
3.Tomatoes chopped
4.Green chillies
5.Onion chopped
6.Red chilli powder
7.Turmeric powder
8.Salt to taste
9.Garam masala powder
10.Curry leaves


1.Blend soaked moong dal into a smooth paste and keep aside.
2.Take idli molds and pour some moong dal batter,cook for 5 minutes and prepare idlies.
3.Meanwhile take another pan pour some oil and heat it,add cashewnut and fry for few minutes,keep aside.
4.Add chopped onions,green chillies,curry leaves and saute for few minutes.
5.Add chopped tomatoes,red chilli powder,salt to taste and mix well on medium heat.
6.Add some water as required,cover and cook on medium flame.
7.Now remove idlies from idli molds and cut into bite size pieces,add into the curry,cover and  cook for another 10 minutes till done.
8.Finally sprinkle some garam masala powder and give it a good stir.Transfer into a bowl,serve hot.
