Kanda Dosa


1.Kanda (Elephant yam)
2.Chana dal
4.Green chillies
6.Cumin seeds
7.Coriander seeds
8.Salt to taste


1.Peel the yam and grate into a separate bowl,add in soaked chana dal,soaked rice 1 cup,ginger,green chillies,cumin seeds,coriander powder,salt and blend into a smooth paste by adding some water as required.
2.Heat some oil on a skillet,pour the batter on pan and spread evenly.Drizzle some oil around the pan and cook evenly on both sides till it turns nice golden color on medium flame.
3.Cook on both sides evenly and serve hot with ginger chutney.
