3.Red chillies
6.Urad dal
7.Chana dal
8.Cumin seeds
9.Coriander seeds
10.Corn flour
12.Coconut powder
13.Tomato sauce


1.Boil kakarakayalu in water by adding some salt,turmeric,once done remove seeds and cut into two halves.
2.Dry roast chana dal,urad dal,cumin seeds,coriander seeds,red chillies and keep aside.
3.Blend fried ingredients with dry coconut powder,tamarind into a fine powder.
4.Add some oil in powder and mix well,prepare a thick consistency paste.Stuff the mixture in kakarakayalu and keep aside.
5.Dissolve corn flour in water and prepare a thick paste,apply the paste on both sides of kakarakayalu firmly.
6.Heat some oil in a pan as required,place stuffed kakarakaylu in pan and cook.
7.Cover and cook for 5 minutes,keep flipping in between and fry evenly till done.Transfer into a paper napkin,remove excess oil and serve hot.
